Maybe in DOT rules, but in NJ, if you register a vehicle at 26,001+ you will have to present a CDL when stopped. Why not the same as DOT? WTFK's?

OK - change the towed vehicle to 10,001 and then you need the CDL in Jersey. Assuming we are still talking about commercial vehicles and not RV's

i live in nc and i got a farm tag running it at 10,000 and yes my truck weighs in at 9,500 but if i ever get pulled over for weight ill just take a ticket and go on but i am never on big highways just only on back road when its loaded down

but if u really wanna open that 450 up and see whats under the hood throw the h&s on it and put it on stock hp its alot of differences for sure and better fuel mileage to

btw mine is a f350 cab and chassis with 4.10 gears

Then it would need a CDL everywhere.

If you are going to get all those letters you may as well add the DEP sticker and ten you can make some extra hauling stuff to the dump.

Once you finally get the decal it is only a simple annual report to keep it.

Next time you get busted on that why not ask why all those milano trucks running around have no lights? None on the trailers either.

Their trucks not only look like crap, but the looks alone should raise an eyebrow as to a safety inspection. Have my doubts about the loads they haul and the drivers too.

I have the DEP sticker. took me 3 months to get it switched over from my 2006 to the new one. More regulations...ugh!
