1964 FLEETSIDE BED

Anyone know how the Fleetside bed attaches to the fram on a 64 shortbed I thought it was bushings but no luck finding them it may just bolt straight to frame even though i would find that hard to believe. Thanks David

I never had any luck in finding the correct mounting bolts to mount a chevrolet bed to a ford truck. Possibly try home depot or lowe's

Fleetside is a Chevy bed. Styleside is the Ford bed.

Why would you find that hard to believe? What years did FoMoCo use bushings to attach Styleside beds to frame rails?

None that I'm aware of. There is no Ford truck parts catalog listings for any bushings, either.

This is what FoMoCo used: 7/16" -20 carriage bolts, nuts and washers. 1964: Three different length carriage bolts: 1 1/2" .. 3 1/2" .. 4 3/4."

LOL, dont mind us. We like to have fun at times.

The Beds direct bolt to the frame. Only the body 66 Uni used red oak blocking and reinforced rubber.
