WD40 to all the lock mechanisms. Mine had the same problem and a year later all is still good. Something in there hangs up and acts like a door is left open.
i have a 2002 excursion and i have unhooked all the door sensor, plus removed the tailgate switches and the lights will not turn off, help please.
Not to say that you are an idiot, but you did check the dimmer switch on the headlight control module correct? Kids, cleaning, etc can roll that up into the ON position. My kids have done that to me before.
ok so here it is iam not driving it so all the doors are apart and ever switch is on hooked, so the door switches dont matter, again there all on hooked. the dimmer switch on hooked, turn the key on the lights come on and stay on till the timer runs out, but the worst part is the indicator for the door on the dash says there is a door open, no switches hooked up no dimmer switch, the next is a short in one of the doors or the timer is bad any body ever scene anything like this before.
ok have read a lot of theards were everone is putting bypass switches does anyone know what the part that is bad or the part to replace to fix the proplem
