Hood pad Locations

I know this may sound like a dumb question but I bought the hood pad kit I know where the 2 fat round ones go on the side of the cab and the big one with the screw but I didnt know what order the others went big medium and small along the sides.. any help would be appreciated.. thanks in advance.

I believe the order starting at the rear is large, medium, small.

That's how I installed mine, so I hope it's right.

It looks right now I have to re thread the side mount screw sleeves on the hood side. The bolts are not going in or getting started. What size are they? They look like 1/4 inch to 5/16 with fine threads..

I don't remember the size, but I have the same problem with one of the holes being stripped in the sleeve of the hood. I just used a longer bolt with a nut on the end. It can be hard to position the nut so that the bolt grabs, but it's possible.

I thought about that. I hope that the threads just need cleaned a little. It still has some meat the bolt won't go through just wanted to know what size and type tap to use.
