hey guys.......i did a search and didn't get any info. does anyone know what size bolts to be used when replacing the radius arm brackets on a 94 f150. i even read where someone drilled out the holes to a 1/2 inch. will it affect my alignment if i pop off the rivets or should i just unbolt the entire front end to change the radius arm bushing. any info on this and more is appreciated.
X2 on what Desel_Brad said. I did both of them on the same day and had to get more bolts, I planed on doing one and it went so easy that I figured might as well do the other so that they were both new. WATCH for the fuel lines in the frame rails depending on how you remove the rivets,Via torch or grinder they can get hot.
thanks everyone for the help. its greatly appreciated......hey hard drv......no, mines does not look like yours. the rubber is wasted. i got poly bushings for my radius arms. black not red. lol. i'm still waiting for my axle pivot bushings. it didn't arrive yet. i hope it didn't get lost somewhere during shipping. its been almost 2 weeks. thanks again for the help guys........
Found mine like that during an oil change...A cold chill ran over me, and was immediately addressed. Now, I do a DOT hands-on inspection to head off surprises.
