Cab swap

So I've been working away at my '66 over the last couple years starting with a tear down, sand blasting the chassis and painting it, replacing fuel lines, brake lines and etc and patching holes in the cab so I can mount. Recently I have stumbled across a '64 cab that needs waaay less work than my current '66 cab.

My question is can I swap the '66 cab for the '64 with little or no work?

The cab design was changed in 65.Open the door and look to see if there is a step in the door well that doesn't exist in your 66, thats one difference another is the way the front cab mounts to the frame, again that changed in the 65 and up models. Now if those two things are the same as your 66 then its a match for your swap. There ids alot more 65/66 trucks around so keep shopping and you might fine what your looking for !

Welcome to FTE...Toronto isnt kind particularly to these trucks after all these years...Post some pictures and feel free to ask questions of us here...there is a TON of info here...And yes, the cabs arent the same...direct bolt on is 65-66 F100/250 2WD and 66 F100 4WD...
