66 vs 64 cab differences

66 vs 64 cab differences
I was thinking based on the condition of the cab on my 64 it might be most cost and time efficient to do a cab swap. I know the floor boards are different but that might work out any way since i am swaping a 302 w aod. The cab i am looking at is a 66 that had a four speed.

No cab step, floor pan almost as flat as Kansas: 1965/66 F100/250 2WD - 1966 F100 4WD
Cab step, visible when doors are opened: 1961/64 F100/1100 - 1965 F100/250 4WD - 1965/66 F350/1100 - 1966 F250 4WD

Front cab mounts are entirely different. You would have to mod the frame to get the 66 cab on the 64 frame and vice versa. If you still have the 66 frame maybe take the front cab mounts and mod them to the 64 frame. Ive never done this myself but I do know there are a lot of differnces.
