Patience mister.... it was only around 1.5 hours btwn your posts and it's not like your proposed swap/retrofit is commonplace. Most of us would opt to locate a bed within the generation of F-series.
With that said, I don't have a direct answer but can provide some resources for your to deduce from. Then again, Numberdood may chime in and provide the skinny on PNs.
IIRC, flareside beds didn't change that much but there were differences in tailgate widths and of course, wheel base. Absent Numberdoods reply, look up the PNs in LMC's catalog and crossreference the bedsides, head panel, and tailgates. I think you can garner from there whether it is possible. Be prepared to relocate or modify crossmembers.
Btw, the bowtie guys regularly retrofit 90s cehvy stepside beds to mid-50s chevys and they'll look darn made for each other. Ever consider a newer Ford flareside for your rig?
Well I was told that the 50s frames were not as wide as mine. Its really not that big of a deal, but if you want to keep it alive I can change the title again. Thank for your input though.
