Found a new bed
I bought a 2003 Super Duty Diesel and had found problems with the beds cross members I had planed to build new one. However after more underbelly digging the best idea came around to replace the full bed. I found a new bed from a local garage that replaces the beds with custom equipment. It's probably from a 2014 or 2015 truck. They told me the 2 things that was different from the 2 beds is the contour of the outer fender with I could transfer my fender flare and hide it and change the tail gate (hinges?) and use my tail gate which they don't have from the new one. I plan to measure the location of the cross-members and check the two beds but I wanted to ask everyone if they are transferable. I know the beds between 1999 and 2012 have the same style.

From what i understand the beds and the tailgates will swap right over. Pretty sure tailgates swap over without modification as well, however i would go with a newer tailgate. Imo they look so much better.
I to will be doing the same swap as my bed doesnt look bad from the outside, but underneath its pretty bad.
