code 1294

ok truck started running bad. cel light came on. pulled codes and idm codes detected was the code. did buzz test and got 1294 so i pulled driver side apart and plug was unhooked a little. plugged it back in and truck starts and runs fine best i can tell. did the buzz test again and still get 1294 code. changed uvch and gasket. tried buzz test again and still get code. would it safe to say idm is goofed up or something else going on? its an 02 if that means anything. all the injectors buzz the same except #8. its a little quieter. but not much just a little. any help would be great. i do have a scanner also.

I had a similar situation and it turned out that I was not fully clearing my AE. Someone here said to run the KOEO test then clear codes. You may well know this already, thought I'd add my 2 cents..

thats an idea. i do have another scanner. i was using a telestar but i do have an ae also, will give it a shot.

KAM (Keep Alive Memory) Error reset may clear that code. Must be done with KOEO.

I had to do that to get rid of a P1668 after running buzz test.

ok now the truck sputters sometimes and seems to idle a little higher than normal. i believe i got a good one here. not sure if it will help but im switching idm with one out of another truck. heck i got more time than money.lol
