Don't worry, even though the truck stopped you didn't hurt a thing, the E4OD can prevent the user from actually locking the trans jumping from D to R or backwards. You can check it if you want, but i'm pretty sure you just hurted you ego and maybe the drivetrain a little (not more than accelerating hard out of a stop). I have one question: is the tranny leaking since you did that?, i bet it isn't (or at least it isn't leaking more than before).

 

thanks everyone for the replies. There is no leaking yet and still seems to be running fine (so far only driven to school and back).
@DBGrif91...I wanted to rev the engine to hear the exhaust, as I recently installed a magnaflow on it. I did not have my foot on the pedal when shifting from Drive to Reverse though (not that it really matters now).

 

If you want to rev the truck, do it at idle, it'll sound the same.

 

I did this once to my old bronco. But I didn't stall the engine, I did a reverse burnout @ 40. Took 2 years before the converter went out. That was only because I did a motor rebuild and build up on the stock trans.
