Engine hung up....

Alright, I replaced all 8 injector cups and 2 injectors, buttoned up the valve covers and now my engine won't turn. I went under to try and turn the pulley with a wrench and it would not spin the correct direction. Any ideas? Could the engine be frozen?

It's hydro locked the cylinders have oil in them. Pull the valve covers off and pull the glow plugs and spun the eng.

Is that going to push out all the oil or am I going to have to tear down the engine?

It will push the oil out. Play tails over it. Hope u didn't bend anything. Pull Maxie fuse 22 think it 30 a and it will not start.

Unplugging the CPS would work.
Easier to pull the fuse and relays.

Hopefully you didn't keep trying to force it.

Alright well that worked. Now my next issue is it takes about 15 to 20 seconds of cranking to start her up even after running for a hour. Any ideas?

Yea mine doing that same after the turbo rebuild. Glad nothing was bent.

That leads to my next issue I bought this truck for 200$ knowing I would have a project. Today when I backed it out my clutch was slipping so bad I had to put it in 4 low and baby it back in. Is this usually a bad clutch or a bad master or slave cylinder?

I would think if your hydraulics were bad, you would have the opposite problem, meaning that you wouldn't be able to get it into gear without shutting the truck off.

Your clutch is likely bad.

I also hear the noise when I rev the engine up to 2000 rpm then let off. Does this change anything?
