injector Help

Just installed my new injectors......Install went well, or so i thought....everything completed went to start my truck....Now its locked down..I am thinking cylinder full of oil???try turning the motor by hand, i can go 3/4 round and it stops...am i right or what am i missing????

It sound like it to me as well Joey. DId you suck the oil out of the cylinders before you installed the new injectors? You can also remove the GP and turn it over, cover with rags because if there is any it will shoot everywhere.

nope didnt suck the oil out....didnt think about it.....new plan, remove glow plugs,set valve covers back on,turn over by hand a few rounds,then turn over with switch....

Thanks for the call.....I did it, had a friend come over friday and he talked me into it...started friday and finished today (so i thought)...no big deal...2nd time is always faster...LOL....

one question though....Pull glow plugs,turn over,....Should I change the oil??? it only has 1500 miles on fresh oil.....

It is a good idea to change it Joey, you will have some fuel mixed with the oil from removing the injectors. With the glow plugs out it will purge the oil and fuel mix out of the cylinders for you.
