I am in need of a kit to rebuild a 4 barrel carb off of a '56 F-800 with the 332 engine. The Ford numbers should be B6T9590A-A and B6QH9590A-A.
I bought a kit several years ago from a local parts store (Auto Value, I think) but no one is of any help this time. My local Ford dealer thought there was one at another dealer, but when I called there was none.
Any suggestions on who to call? Thanks for your help.
What carb is on that? I usually buy mine from a guy who travels to many of the swap meets around the eastern part of the US (drives a Big green truck with an older RV mounted on the back. He was nice enough to give me a card but I can't find it. I am sure he will be in Moultrie on 2/4 so I will get the information (if I don't find it before) and post.
Do you happen to have one of the following carb numbers (ignore numbers in parentheses, these are the truck parts catalog carb parts lists).
Carb ID tag or stamped number on carb: ECT-9510-B (T51) / ECT-9510-C (T52) / ECT-9510-D (T53) / ECT-9510-E (T54) / ECT-9510-J (T67)
The reason I ask is, I came up with different kits than you listed. There is no suffix of A-A, it's just A
These are your numbers, I'll list mine when you give the carb ID number. Since there are several different kits, w/o the ID number, I'm dead in the water.
