Y'all cannot always go by ID or part number prefixes to figure what parts fit, because Ford updates 10's of 1000's of part numbers every year.
D0PF-U = C9AZ-9510-AE .. 4V Holley Carburetor (Motorcraft CA689A)
1965/72 Ford Passenger Car Parts Catalog / Carburetor Section 95 / Parts List # 20Z
C9AZ-9510-AE fit various years of: 289/302/352/390/406/427/428/429 engines.
B9AZ9A586E .. Carburetor Kit (Motorcraft CT195A)
C9AZ-9510-AE replaced (and this is only a very small partial list!): COAZ-9510-C; C3AZ-9510-AU; C3AZ-9510-AK; C3AZ-9510-AU; C4AZ-9510-D; C5SZ-9510-A; C5ZZ-9510-M; C6ZZ-9510-B; C7AZ-9510-M; C9AZ-9510-AA.
Now...you can see why I said y'all cannot always go by part number prefixes to ID what parts fit!
Why the Motorcraft part numbers?
In 1972, Ford was forced by the US Gov't to sell Auto-Lite, because they said Ford had a monopoly on autoparts.
When Ford sold Auto-Lite, they started in-house brand Motorcraft, and transfered all the Auto-Lite part numbers over to Motorcraft part numbers.
Even though the carb is a Holley, Ford originally used Auto-Lite part numbers on everything fuel and electrical related.
EDIT: Leave that carb ID tag on the carburetor, just take the number with you to autoparts stores when looking for parts.
If you lose that tag...you'll be SOL!

Most carbs today have no ID tags on them at all, it's just like rear axle ID tags.
Once they were removed, most mechanics neglected to put them back on.
Here it is again:
B9AZ9A586E (Motorcraft CT195A)
You can go to NAPA or a good indie autoparts store, they can cross the Motorcraft number over to the brands they sell.
Here's a couple of original Ford carb kits:
MILLER OBSOLETE in Binghamton NY has ONE: 800-546-7278.
JST AUTOMOTIVE in Lebanon TN has ONE: 615-443-3086.
