the truck is a 1995 f-150 with the 300. every time right after the truck turns over something makes a really loud squeak sound for a few seconds. the truck has been doing this for a while and its starting to get on my nerves . it happens right after the truck turns over for a few seconds. im almost positive its not the belt. the truck does it almost everytime it starts. the only time it hasnt done it recently was when i whent out to dinner the other day and it cooled down for about an hour. if anyone has any input on this problem it would be greatly appreciated.
Remove the belt, and hand spin all your accessories pulleys by hand, see if one feels kind of tight. And by pulling on the tensionner to take the belt off, you'll feel if it's really stiff as well. It should have "some" stiffness, but not to bad.

i just whent out and checked that and all of the accessories seem to be fine and spin freely
A belt with little bit of antifreeze on it will squeel for a few moments. A belt that gotten soaked by antifreeze usually will squeek for awhile till it warms up. I got a squeek on my 89 F250 because the throttlebody coolant(hearter) line blew off and soaked the belt. Pisses me off that its a NEW belt too.....
Main/rod bearings? What does your oil pressure look like?
my oil pressure guage doesnt work. but i dont think its that cause its been doin it for a while so the bearings probably woulda whent out by now. a friend of mine said it could be my starter
If it were the starter the noise would be at the rear of the engine....
I'd slip a manual oil pressure gauge on there and at least verify the oil pressure.. If the oil pressure is low it "might" be a rocker arm screaming for lubrication..
Or the oil is running back into the oil pan, what brand of oil filter are you running?
If it were my truck the engine would NOT be started until I knew I would have a way to observe the oil pressure............
