Squeal Help!
Now that I have had all my HG issues solved and can actually drive the truck, on to the next issue. The belt or pulley(s) squeals on start up. The weird thing is that it doesn't always do it. The first start up of the day is always quiet. Subsequent startups though create a squeal that last no longer than 1-2 seconds. It is kind of hard to track down in that short of time. I completely degreased the pulleys and that took it away completely for a few days, but now it is back. Is it more than likely the belt that is contaminated from all the antifreeze (HG issues, coolant overflow etc...)? Should I just replace the belt? Or could it possibly be a pulley(s) or the belt tension?

replace all idler pulley's for serpentine belt... and the belt....
ALL so common..
last fall.. I replaced all of mine... and only one made noise... with motorcraft parts. from rockauto dot com.
