I found a smokin deal on a 2.5 inch leveling kit for my truck but i want to make sure it will work before i buy
I have an 85 diesel f-250 with the ttb 50 up front
the kit is for 85-Blah f-250 gasser with the ttb 50
the whole deal is for drop down steering arm. add a leaf and the drop down bracket for the arms to insure tire camber. so it should keep tire wear in check i just want to make sure that the whole gasser/diesel part wont cause any differences
I'll second the probably yes.
The drop brackets for the TTB will be the important part. The add-a-leaf might not have as much effect due to the heavier diesel engine, but I don't think that would be a big difference. Also, if the springs don't quite do enough, you could add in another, or a different spring cheaply.
The drop pitman arm should also be fine, as the only difference in the steering between a gasser and diesel (of the same other specs) would be the bracket to mount the pump to the engine.
