thanks, Marianna, where did you mount it, would frame rail by the FSV work?
I would mount it on the frame infront of the FSS so it filters after the FFS.
PS:
OK, I went out and looked at my 92 frame around the FFS. I would mount the filter inside the frame on it's side. The bad part about that is when you go to change the filter, you'll spill a lot of fuel. There are alot of holes in the frame you could use to mount it on outside of the frame. That way you can change the filter without losing a lot of fuel. It is a lot more exposed to foreign object damage. I guess it's your call, just giving my 2¢.

Reason: Added PS
Before my e- pump I used one of those cheapo 3 dollar inline plastic ones. Its clear so I can see fuel.flow and how much junk is in it. Also I installed a 1/4 turn ball valve before it so I can kill the flow of fuel so when I change it I dont get covered in diesel. Just another option for u. Its held up good so far got a few thousand miles on it and its still pretty clean
Here a system ill put on my last truck wich was 6.5 chevy it fit nice on frame rail got it at walmart for 28.99 and it came with filter and has in and out port on both ends so won't have bend any lines and all have do plug off the 2 opening you don't need
