I found the cut wire to the SPOUT connector, i repaired it and now i get the timing advance! I got everything in specs now im going to try and smog it tomorrow. The cut wire was hidden in the wire loom going to the fire wall. Should be all good now as long as it passes CA smog.

Good luck with it, I'm glad I don't have to deal with that. You may want to do an oil change and fresh plugs.

I replaced the spark plugs,wires, cap and rotor. I'm holding off on the oil because it has a bad oil leak and im going to have to replace the oil pan gasket and probably the front timing cover gasket as well. I'll track it down after i pressure wash the motor. Smog check in 3 hours...
