Is this my spout connector? The thing I am supposed to disconnect to check base timing?

Thanks! The Spout connector has a plastic clip-tab on it that suggests to me it is supposed to clip onto something. Does anyone know what the Spout connector is supposed to clip to? Mine just kind of dangles out there.

Also, does anyone know what this is? It is rectangular, grey, and spongy-feeling, and it appears to be some kind of wierd connector for a green wire found near the distributor. I'm just curious about it.

Galendor, where have you been? I have not seen any recent posts. You need to pull the camera back and let others see that clean engine [if still as was a couple of years ago].
