Can someone please tell me which wire going into the harness on the distributor is the spout connector. I asummed the spout connector was the harness that plugged into the distributor. Wrong!!! Back to the FTE to ask the experts. MY truck is an '85 4.9l carbed.
Yes! carbed engines do have the spout connector, But only on the TFI IV ignition. My 84 has it.
The ignition module is attached to the distributer it is that gray thing with the wires running to it. The yellow wire is the spout connector and is the only wire that has a connector in it. it is a one pin connector.
Disconnect the connector to set the initial timing.
