Electrical Issues in Steering Column.
Ok Here is the Deal I got my 99 F350 SD 7.3 Manual From my Girl Friend it was her Ex husbands truck and I have had to put a lot of money into it. over the last month. And Mechanically it is sound now. So on to the Annoyances.. When I first start the truck it will beep 5/6 sets of 5 Beeps I believe this is a air bag code for an air bag issue. The Horn does not work and neither does the Cruise control. I would like for all this to work again it appears. about a year ago My GF and her then Husband were woken up to the horn blaring on the truck. but instead of just pulling the fuse the guy cut all the wires coming out of the steering column. My Question is does anyone have a diagram hopefully some pictures as well that can tell me what wires are which so I can get them hooked back up. and if the horn still is going off would that be the Clock Spring then that is the issue? Any Assistance would be helpful.

The 5 beeps is from the airbag light being burnt out and there may be a code for the airbag system. It is pretty common when the bulb is bad to get that. It is a self check of the system to warn you.
As far as the cut wires, you should be able to splice them pretty easily.
The horn issue is most likely from a clockspring problem in the wheel. Here is a maintenance manual for it, and how to replace it.
