nah, Bill, it's all good.

I deal with a lot people who are always trying to get something for nothing, and the younger crowd with their feeling of entitlement drives me bat ****.

oh-rye-lees gives lifetime warranty because they have to. i replace the alternator every two years like clockwork, lol. i understand what you are saying, but considering the circumstances, i really do not think your situation would be worth the grief. you really do not know what kind of condition your glow plugs were in, and it may be just that- they got a full charge and that was the end of them.

Doesn't hurt to ask, but instead of arguing with someone in a green shirt, your time would be better spent with the family- or drinking beer!

I too am having starting issues and tested my plugs and got 3 of the 8 that did not read anything at all. I assumed these are bad? The other 5 read between .9 and 1.4. What do you think? I'm planning on replacing all 8 this weekend. Is the general consensus still to use only Motorcraft plugs?
Thanks for the comment on the videos!

The open ones are most likley bad or have damaged UVCH wires (most likely just bad GP's though)

Use only the FORD or Motorcraft GP's: Riffraff Diesel Motorcraft GLow Plugs

Thanks for the reply. I'm not real good with electronics and especially using my DVM. So, if there is no reading on the ohm test, that means it reading infinity and they are bad also?

Well you must be pretty good with a DVM. You got readings on five of them! If you didn't get readings they are more than likely bad. Are they all on the same side? Replacing all of them isn't really any harder than a few if they are on both sides. Also a great time o upgrade the UVCH or do the fifty cent mod!

No as my luck has it I had 2 on the drivers side and 1 on the passenger. I'm going to dive right in tonight and get started on getting everything removed. What are some other things I should check while I'm at it? I know to retork the lower injector bolts, head bolts. Is there a way to look at an injector to determine if there is anything wrong with it? Just want to know if it will be worthwhile to remove them for inspection. I do plan on doing the .50 mod also. Oh yea, what's the latest on the AIH delete, still a good mod? I got one from Riff a while back, just have not installed yet.
