No Heat

I have a 2005 F-350 6.0 with climate control and the heat seems not to be very warm at all. The truck runs at normal operating temp also. I drive 20 miles to work 1 way and I have it cranked up on 90 degrees and I never get hot. The fan blows on high speed, and little heat blows out just not hot heat. My past Ford trucks have heated me outa the cab and this one wont. Any suggestions?????

need more info

firs off keep in mind that with the limited info and assuming a few things, I think the blend door for the temp mix is not operating.

But what would help us all here in helping you is...
has the heat ever worked, or is this a new to you truck?

Is the engine temp getting up to proper level, You didnt mention.

I say this from experience, I drove my truck during the summer with the t-stats stuck open and i didnt notice right away, so make sure the engine temp is normal.

Like i said thow, I think it may be the blend doors, im not am expert at these doors and thier oreration, but some one here is, just add the additional info and be patient... they will chime in

I agree, a bit more information would help. Have you confirmed that you have full function of your blend door/actuator. When turned to the cold position do you have cold air? Can you hear the pitch of the air change when changing it back over to hot? There is also a valve under the hood (passenger side) that has a gray vacuum hose going to it. Sometimes that line falls off.

I just changed out a heater core on a 2002 F150 that was completed rusted up. I was able to tell by bringing the truck to operating temp with the heater on, then grab both hoses. One was noticeably hotter than the other... Once removing it I flushed it out and got all kinds of rust and chunks out of it. You may try to flush the heater core out with a water hose both directions to ensure your core isn't clogged up.

Hope that helps a little...

Check the in line shut off valve and see if it is working, maybe the vacuum hose that actuates it is off. Passenger side of the engine.

You need to check that the truck is getting up to actual operating temperature, not just what is showing on the indash idiot gauge. The thermostat's on these trucks seem to have a "high" failure rate (stick open) and despite what the dash gauge says they don't get hot enough. Cold is BAD on a diesel's efficiency.

When Im driving the engine temp runs 180-190 according to my Hypermax chip, and when I adjust from cold to hot air the air temp does change and there is a change in sound from fan, but the hot side is luke warm, not hot
