I have a Prodigy II brake controller I would like to install in my 05 F250. I bought the adapter so I could just plug and play. Problem is I can't find the plug in the truck. Does my truck have one? If so, where do I find it, what's it look like, etc? If not, how do I wire it in?
Which wiring harness did you get. The standard Ford one (3035-P) fits just about every Ford out there, except 05+ Super Duties (trucks that could have the Integrated Controller). The harness you need is 3065-P and has a different shaped plug.
If you got the wrong harness, you might be looking for the wrong shaped plug.
Yeah my plug looks just like the male plug in your post. Is the female end hidden behind something after you remove the dash plate or should it be in plain sight?
I'm in the house for the night. I'll have to check to see if somebody just cut the wires like you said tomorrow after work.
Mine is an 04, so it's nothing like yours. All I know is that the Integrated Controller uses that same plug, so it should be somewhere behind where the Integrated Controller goes.
If you are sitting in your drivers seat to your lower right will be the "cubby hole". Maybe where you put your wallet? If you have 4x4 it's just to the right of your shift on the fly. Anyways, that plug is connected to the back of that "cubby hole".

OK. I pulled the ashtray out last night and checked behind it and tried to look behind the cubby hole and didn't see the plug. I'll look a little harder tonight. Do I need to take the dash apart to find?
