lately i heard about people who had a enterprise in optimising L6 engines in such a manner that they could easyly compete with a bigger V8 in ways of torque and power and that is as for a daily driver.
They do this because L6 engines are cheaper, more economic and have a lot of stamina in them as wel.
sadly i lost their links.
does somebody here now of whom i'm speaking?
I would seek advice from the people on here who have built these engines. There are some very experienced builders on here for this engine. Then have a trusted local machine shop assemble to your spec's. With my own experience and that of people I know, I would stay away from Clifford's period. It's not the same outfit it was years ago.

Well, in that case i adress the next question at them folks (Not Clifford's),
How well is it possible to build and use a L6 as a DD which i use regular to tow trailers in the 3500 KG range (about 7000#)?
and do they do their job better as a V8? (only have 16 years experience with a 318 autobox).
