A couple of interior questions

I need to glue my rear view mirror back on. Do I just find where the the middle of the windshield is and put it there?

Also, when my truck was painted they didn't put that plastic sheet in that's in between the door panel and door back in. What kind of adhesive should I use for that? I already have some plastic that I got from Home Depot.

Thanks!

Sorta... position the mirror and lower the sunvisors so it clears. Mark the spot and glue it on. Good luck with it... I went through three of those mounting kits after following the instructions to the nth degreee only to find the mirror laying on the dash the following day. My solution was to fabricate a drop-down bracket secured under the center visor bracket.

That's called a water shield. Actually, it should be made of a wax coated paper - not plastic. I used wax paper and secured it with 3M strip caulk... also referred to as "dum-dum". About $11 for a box.
