Ignition Problem
I have a very confusing problem. I'll start out from the first.
I thought I had a solenoid problem, I went and changed it like normal. It seemed to work but a few days later it was the same way again. For a few weeks now I've been having to start my pick up by jumping it at the solenoid. Then, a few days ago I tried starting it and it didn't start so I got out the screwdriver (extra special bend screwdriver that is haha) I use to jump it off with and thought the key was on. Well, after two tries I checked again and it wasn't. Anyway, it started up and ran fine until the next day when I put on a new solenoid because I thought it was still that at the time. I started it to check it then turned the key back and took it out. The truck was still on. I took the battery cable off, it shut off. So, I thought it was the ignition switch then. I got the switch today and accidentally came home with the lock also. Forgot to say, I messed with it and it seems to be "stuck" in the on position. Anyway, I put those on it tonight and it still is "stuck" in the on position.
Couple extra notes, my blower on my heat and AC went out while I've had these problems. Also, I can shut it off sometimes. I did it today while getting the part, matter-o-fact. Though I had to use a screwdriver because the tumbler wouldn't fit back in.
So, I'm thinking it's a wiring problem or my ignition module. Any ideas?
