electric trailer plug issue

Hey guys, I have a 1996 F250 Powerstroke, I am having an issue trcking down an electrical issue. I have a 7way plug on my truck, when I plug in a trailer, running lights, brake, 12volt, and electric brakes all work, except left side turn signal, the right side works, but not the left. The blinkers on the truck work fine, but I am not getting signal to the plug for only the left turn signal. I checked the plug it's self, and nothing, checked further up where the plug connects to the harness... same thing...nothing... like I siad, the signal on the truck markers work, but nothing going to the trailer plug... any ideas where to look?

Did you check the fuse? In the fuse box under the hood, #6 is the trailer right hand stop/turn and #7 is the trailer left hand stop turn.

I will have to check that out, I didn't know they run separate fuses.

Glad you got it fixed...I had a similar issue, but mine was the marker lights. I did find the wire going into the plug was frayed, and thought that solved it but no go. I found about the separate trailer fuses and found a larger than rated burnt out fuse in the box, which made sense given the frayed wire, PO must have had issues with it blowing out and "fixed it" with a high AMP fuse

I have to ask: Where is that fuse block on a 2004 F250 Super Duty? Thanks!
