I am about to start building a flatbed for my '66 F250 4X4. I want to add cargo lights. I had a '71 awhile ago with a lighted cargo light switch. Are these available? If so, where can I get one?
Believe it...or not: The cargo lamp used on 1967/72 F100/350's is the exact SAME thing as the two 1964/65 Thunderbird backup lamps (R/L is the same). Lens, bezel, gasket...the whole enchilada.
There are two different cargo lamp switches. One is unique to 1967, t'other is the same 1968/72.
The switches are obsolete, but might be available NOS

Whoops. I reread my post and it sounds like I want a cargo light. I need a cargo light switch. Sorry.
What is the difference between '67 and '68/'72?
I would appreciate it if you could find some NOS ones.
It would be much appreciated (I don't really know how to show my appreciation though).
I sent you a P/M a coupla days ago inre to those mirrors you want, you haven't responded. I held off on the cargo lamp switch info because I wanted to do everything at the same time.
1967: The dash is one year only, as is the cargo lamp switch, bezel and etc. These parts mount in a different location on 1968/72's that have a different dash.
