Michael, I also was going to order from Truckaddons (I got my last set from them 5 years ago) but after reading the reviews about them I decided to get them from Autoeverything as there is a link on this site that gets us 15% off any order $150 and above. So I got that and the $100 rebate from Rancho (have to mail it in when I get them - should be tomorrow).
I went the route that Dim Sum did, 999042 and 999047, and will be installing them this weekend
Did not go for the controller and compressor....yet
Roy,
I thought about inside the cab but it's a fairly noisy compressor and I just dind't want to hear it that close. It runs more than you would expect - I assume it must maintain pressure on the shocks to keep the setting you establish - in other words it doesn't just run to change the setting but the pressure pushes in the plunger to the correct setting and has to maintain that pressure to keep the setting. That's what i think anyway. I don't have any leaks that i can find but the compressor does usually come on when power is applied.

Did you do the soapy water test on the connections?
Earlier in the thread someone else mentioned that and the op said that his does not keep cycling.....check the joints.
I did the soapy water test and did not have any leaks. I will test again this weekend since I've driven a bit after installation. It doesn't run except at startup. So not a big deal.
Finally got around to replacing the shocks with 900XL's
And the plain (non-Rancho) shocks rebound was as bad on these as the stock Rancho shocks in the video. And I only have 1700 miles on the truck.
I wonder if that's the way they are supposed to be...kinda like the "premium" speakers
Anyway I have only driven a few miles but it does seem like a smoother ride, as if it were possible. I tried the 6 front and 3 rear settings and drove it around the block but, ended up changing it to 7 front 4 rear. After the drive to work this morning I am going to go back to 6 front 3 rear (boy that wireless remote sure would be nice ) which was my setting with these same shocks on the 3/4 ton Cheby that I traded in.
Will Do
I'll have to showup in AZ and visit. I have a son in Tucson at the U of AZ in the latter stages of a Ph.D in Chemical Engineering. (Someone in the family is using his nogin)

Still waiting for the Bilstein stabilizer to top it off, Now looking at 2" lift not sure which one, does any one know what the differance should be to level the truck? 2" front 1.5 rear can't go to high I pull a fifth wheel toyhauler
