I saw a heroin addict throw a big rock at a front door and it went in about a foot and stopped and stayed there. I called the cops after he gave up trying to get in and they arrested him down the street.

They are selling the product for roll down windows. The glass is not sealed in a frame. For cases where the glass is sealed around the edge it will work.

Yes, for roll down windows. For doors without the outer metal edge that houses the upper window track (convertibles, etc.) this probably wouldn't work as well. This works for newer windows where the glass has no frame, but the door serves as the frame.
