i just recently installed a new thermostat because my heater would only get warm the first two installments had leaked from the housing because of using temperature sensative sealants, well the third time i purchased the correct sealant and re-installed the thermostat and the motor ran smoother and heater got warmer but after driving a while a fair amount of anti-freeze came out but it was not leaking from the thermostat, the only place i could think of it coming out of was the smog muffler because due to a clog somewhere and it purging out but i am not sure.
In your other thread on the SAME subject, I believe you mentioned over filling after replacing the thermostat, I would venture a guess the antifreeze was sucked in there.
The air/smog pump intake muffler does not have antifreeze going to it.. ONLY air.........
lol yeah in the other thread i also said i was going to start a new thread because it was all messed up, but i wasnt sure because there is, what i believe the pump, that has 3 other hoses similar to my coolant hoses, if i knew what was going on i wouldnt be on here asking questions.
