Yes this is an alarm add on, however it does not require an alarm. It will give you one touch up and down of 2 windows from the standard switch's with the safety features that stop the glass if it encounters an obstacle.
so it always full on up or down? do you get transitional positioning?
my switch right now will let me position the drivers window however I want, and there is an extra "click" for the down that will activate auto down.
All the kits I've found or been linked to say they give you auto up/down, but they don't discuss the glass behaviour. It'd suck to gain the ability for auto, but lose incremental positioning.
