Auto Up/Down Window Switch Mods
Do they exist? My Google Foo is lacking tonight.
Just wondering if anybody has ventured down this path? And yes, I know it's all lazyness. Don't care. You get used to the small things and want them in your current ride
My 09 Mustang had auto up/down for both windows. My 08 Expy has auto up/down for drivers window. I'd love to add the auto up function to my current button that does Auto down.
Also adding auto up/down would be cool for all 4 window switches
Also, can you mod the 4 way switch? Kids like to play with rear window door controls so I always have the "lock" button on. This keeps wife from controlling her window...which leads to annoyance on my part.Also adding auto up/down would be cool for all 4 window switches

One Touch Down window module kits, you need one per door for each direction.

One thing to remember when trying to rig a one-touch UP is the safety factor. Its not a problem for one-touch down, but one-touch up needs to have some sort of way to detect if something is between the glass and the window frame. So you don't get arms or heads crushed!
The 2010 Dodge trucks we have at work have one-touch up and, while its moving up, if you press down on the glass with your hand, it will switch directions and go down.
This aftermarket unit lists a "load sensor" which I believe is what I'm talking about.

Yes this is an alarm add on, however it does not require an alarm. It will give you one touch up and down of 2 windows from the standard switch's with the safety features that stop the glass if it encounters an obstacle.

Subscribing! do these require you to modify the switch itself? on my truck its almost like a button and you have to press down on the window switch then down again to make it go to auto.

The ones I used to have were auto with a click, press and hold, then let go for standard option
