Brake and ABS light problem

My ABS light will not go off.So far I have changed the abs sensor in the rear axle, cleaned the 2 trans sensors.I changed the master and hydroboost because te pedal was losing pressure then getting hard again.ABS stayed off for a couple days after changing the master and hydro but now it is back on and pedal pressure is erratic.Any ideas?

Can you get someone nearby to read the codes for you? It would be helpful in pin pointing the problem.

Sounds strange, but check your alternator to be sure its working properly. The past two times my alternator went out my abs light and brake pedal acted as you describe before failing. After changing alternator all is good, did not touch brakes at all. Just a thought that you might not normally consider.

True, Damon. One of the codes that ABS can trip is due to "Low Voltage".

sounds like you just tested it. 14.4 is all the voltage you should get from the alt.
