scan gauge II help

so i just got a scan gauge II for x mas. as of right now im not seeing engine oil temp or coolant temp? can anyone give me advice on how to see it

I recommend searching for "x gauges" in this forum. There are many lists to choose from. Be prepared though. You'll spend a lot of time staring at the thing while you're in the truck.

Some x-gauges direct from their website.

Ford Specific XGauges

I think the coolant temp gauge is already on the SGII.

i have a scangauge that i got when they first came out. anyone know how to add coolant temp? its not on mine

coolant temp is already there at least on the newer ones

Its marked fWT = farenheight water tempiture NOT ECT like you think it would

theres also probably an x-gauge so you could name it what you want I dont think anyone uses it because it take one of the 25 positions

If you cant find Fwt post back Ill try and find the X-gauge for it

Your welcome !!!

You can also verify the accuricy of the temp gauges and scangauge by comparing All Fluid temps [ECT,EOT,TFT] after a 12 hour cold soak they should read the same temp or atleast be within 1-2 degrees of each other.

some of the x-codes can be modified if you find a Bust thats out 1-2* at cold soak
