alright so my clutch line blew and since ive got a manual tranny i just shifted till i got to canadian tire and did and quick fix in the parking lot and re bled the system but there is still no pressure behind the pedal so my conclusion is that i blew my slave. would this sound correct to anyone or have any other ideas ? i can start the truck with the clutch to the floor and then push and through it in first and away it will go it will also start in first and then just immediately go.
The hydraulic master cylinder is very difficut (approaching impossible) to bleed on the truck. Before I pulled the transmission, I would pull the clutch MC and bench bleed it.
actually it sounds as if you have air in the master cyl! Possibly some in the slave but I would bet on the master 1st since you probably puked it all out and then the air got in. The MC is the biggest possibility.
yea i took it out and bled it lots of pressure behind the push rod now but i cant see how to get it back in all together and i kinda rigged my old clutch line with high pressure hose so ince i had it all out i decided to replace it so i have to drop the tranny to put the new slave in cause the olod line was fused to the old slave sucks alot
