You wont get much over 300/600 with the stock stick, thats about where Im at now.

no no no.... thats with the HPOP turbo and new injectors.... will he make over 400.
With stock stick most dont make over 325ish HP and a lot of that other than injectors and turbo (of course) its due to the HPOP not being able to hold up to the demands of aftermarket sticks... DP doesnt advise running the 140 tune on a stock setup truck. Did I calrify that now? I hope I explained that right

Now are you saying 300-320rwhp because the Early injectors 130cc will limit you no matter what tune, hpop, turbo you are running. The reason I ask is I too have a E99 with stock AB injectors, T500, E99 turbo with 1.0 w.g. housing and once I get tunes I am hoping for 320rwhp. And I had heard the AB's are only good up to around 300-320hp and is with a upgraded hpop is that correct ?

Now John are you saying 325hp on the E99 130cc or your 2001 140cc injectors ? And I agree totally about the hpop playing a big part. Also I have heard that these E99 AB injectors need and use more oil than a AD injector I don't know if there is any truth to that statement.

325 on the 2001, I keep forgetting about the early 99 being so different.

I do not know if there is any truth to needing more oil in the ABs that Im clueless about

99.5-2003 most are capable of making 300-325 HP with tuning but then the HPOP and Injectors pretty much limit it to that and once you upgrade those then the turbo is the limilting factor

Ed, I believe the AD injectors use more oil. I also believe the HP is close on both. The intake and plemums, spider are also much bigger on the late model. I felt much more down low with the change over. I also found out the guts of both turbo's, early or late, are the same.Wheels and all except the early has the wick wheel installed. And acourse the intake side of the turbo is larger but not the wheel size.

Thanks John I am working my way though all issues I can except injectors and still staying with the e99 set up. I don't have any big goals but would be real please if I could get 320hp / 600ft/lbs torque. But it hard to say with this stupid E99 set up. That is where I am happy for Bryce getting his new set up.

Thanks Chet maybe I got that backwards and it was the AD's need more oil than the AB's Yea the only differents in turbo's is the compressor housings E99 4bolt and late 99-03 5bolt.

Now Now, dont stay stupid E99 setup ha. Its not stupid.

Thanks for being happy for me though

My E99 turbo spools so freaking fast its ridiculous. That I really like, but I do want more of that top end pull because it does run out pretty quick.

Ed, you could get a Beans Dominator D66 turbo and easily get over that on stock injectors. But those are pretty spendy. I think that even with the stock turbo you could get 305-320 and 600 lb*ft with the right tuning. I'd say that you keep an eye out for some 90cc single shot obs injectors and pick them up. Then save up and do a budget build with Rosewood into stage 1's. Tune for that and you'll be set!

Not that this is crucial and Im sure some think that all of this paint under the hood is dumb but I like how this turned out.

Painted the Powerstroke Cover to match

Then this pic is before i painted it. I am planning on painting my intake box that same green and getting a black 6637 filter cover. You think riffraff will make me one with green writing on it?

See how the green really looks now? That one is in the sun

Bonus Pics:

Oh ya, New Cab Lights
