Has anyone ever used a paint named Plastikote 615 Chrome Bumper Paint ?
It sounds tooo good to be true. Like I have always heard " If it sounds too good to be true, its not true "

It IS too good to be true. It's a lie...it's just silver paint with more metallic flakes.
What are you shooting?
I'll offer a tip that might be off-topic: My 73 (like the bump) has separate lenses for the taillights and turn signal housings. After repainting the outsides and insides silver, I lined the insides of the housing with aluminum tape (like for HVAC ducting) to increase the housing's reflectivity.
My grill needs a little help. That silver finisf is in need of something.
What about painting only selected parts of it to give it a different look? Like black out every other bar or specific sections? Otherwise, it might be time to bit the bullet and send it off to Advance Plating (TN) for a makeover.
I've used the "chrome" paint for things like inside of tail light houseings and back side of repo bumpers (to keep them from rusting) but for an external part i think it would look cheap and disco ey. try Eastwood aluminum paint it is a dull silver looks very close to bare aluminum .
