Gp controller? Or relay? 94 7.3
94 7.3 do i have a gp controller? I know i have a relay, but do i have a controller? And where is it? Yes its a powerstroke.
Im putting new gp's in this weekend. My issue is, my relay isnt getting power, so where is the very first start of the system to turn on the plugs? A sensor, a swith, something has to tell the relay to click on and off. What is it?
Ive tried the manual relay, i dont know if i got a bad relay or what, but one i push my button to turn the relay on, it stays on. It wont click back. Too much power?
I know my plugs are toast because i had them heating for about 10 minutes yestarday morning. It would try to fire but never would. This has been happening often. It was only 25 deg here..
So any info on very first path of system, or a good intruction on how to hookup a manual relay. Thanks.

As I understand it on the PSD the PCM energizes the glowplug relay based on info from the oil temp sensor.
Probably better if you go down the main forum page to the Diesel Section and ask the guys on the PSD page.
