I have noticed that a noise or a thud sound coming from the bottom of my feet when im driving. It only happens from a dead stop around 20 miles an hour. Kinda like a jerking coming from the front wheels. Just had the trans flush and replaced filter. Any ideas?
Hrmmm, I wonder if doing this would cure the... I guess it sounds like a low pitched whine at 20-40mph under very light throttle like when I'm going through a neighborhood. I have noticed no ill effects and have towed a pretty decent amount with this vehicle and no issues performance wise at all. I just don't feel like pulling the DS out and having to deal with 13qts of Mercon V or whatever the correct amount is lol.
that tsb sounds like my problem. I have it at the shop so Im having the tires balanced and having them grease everything.
Now It has another problem. At certain speeds it feels like it has a miss. It sputters for a sec then smooths out. But now its happening alot. No check engine light comes on. Had the cop replaced about 4 moths ago. any ideas
A wheel bearing can cover some of the symptoms like the whine and thud in your feet at certain speeds. Jack the front wheels up and grab the tire at the 12 and 6 o'clock position and Try to rock it back and forth. It should have zero play. If It does it's a wheel bearing. Good luck
Still does it after I picked it up from the shop. I checked under the front end today and found a shock bushing that is toast, and the shock has movement back and forth.
