If the wiper system is stock, I don't think you will have intermittent. I don't think they made that option with them but i am not sure, my 78 only has fast and super fast, 2 clicks plus the washer.

Oh hmm is there a circuit board on the motor itself? I know with our chevy can they have a little circuit board that can get corroded and cause it not to work.

I had a 78 F250 Ranger for 22 years. Don't know if it would be the same as the bronco, but it did have stock intermittant wipers. They went out on me and I could not find a replacement control box. At first Ford told me they weren't made that way, then when I took them the control box it was an "I guess they did, parts no longer available". It's been quite a while now since I've had the truck but I do remember there was a black rectangular box behind the dash about the size of a cigarette pack to the left of the steering column. Can't remember exactly how it was mounted, but do remember it was pretty easy to get out. I finally took it apart and fiddled around with it and was able to bipass the delay system and get the wipers to work on high and low.

That's where mine is........left it hanging there behind and above the fuse box.......you can follow the switch connector down to it id you pull the switch ......you can pull the connectors from the module buy a non intermittent wiper switch and plug it in. if you find a source for the module I'd like to have one to go back to intermittent.

It will be the intermitent box it is black in color and will be right near the wiper switch. I had the same issue on my last Bronco and the wipers would not work. These black boxes can be found on all trucks and Broncos from 75-94 and maybe 96, check your local wreckers for it.

As far as intermitent wipers on these I had it on a 76 F150 XLT so yes it was available.
