I stopped by the dealer today and put a 2012 headrest in my 2011 truck and it fit fine and the gray cloth interior matched! Now I just have to come up with the $180.00ea. or so price tag. Not the end of the world for a truck I'll have for 15 years at least! Thanks for all the help everyone!

And these were the adjusting type (adjust forward and backward and all)? That's pretty cool. I will have to check that out! Thanks for the update.
Throw my wife in the "hate the headrest" club. She's sorta gotten used to them now (lean the seat back jusssst so), but still. Would they be as easy as just a simple "pull the old ones and insert the new ones"? We sat in a 2012 and did notice the adjustable. We tried the heck out of the ones in the truck we got until we realized we had a 2011, not a 2012 that we looked at. Oh well. If they are truly just "hot swappable", that would be cool.
I stopped at our local dealer and pulled out the 2012 head rests and put one in my 2011 truck and it fit perfectly! Around $180.00 each. Cheap investment when I'll have the truck 15 years or so.....

I haven't placed the order yet to know for sure. I can update everyone once I know.

I got mine and they work great!. They give you a little more room and my wife does like them better. You have to order the headrest assembly seperate from the cover. The trick to assembling them is to remove the padding off of the hardware and then fold the pad to get it into the cover. Each one will take around a half hour of wrestling to get it in and placed correctly. Here's the part # for the headrest assy: CU5Z-25611A08-A and part # for the steel cloth interior that matched my truck: BC3Z-25610A62-BA. Shoot me an email if you would like pictures of the parts. Good Luck!
not trying to pick your wifes side here but the pictures you posted them headrests are tilted way too far forward. My 2004 are level up and down, why did ford make them angled so far like that?

No idea, that's why we bought 2012 headrests. The new ones are straight up and down unless you choose to tilt them forward.
my cousin just bought a new 2012 GMC 1500 friday night and i took a ride in it saturday, them headrest are worse than the fords! they have this five inch bulge that hits your neck and makes your head tilt at a weird angle backwards. Take your wife in a new GMC and shell love the fords again, the grass isnt always greener on the other side of the fence....
