I'm sorry, but I can't decipher that and I can't help if I don't understand. Could you try again?

No need to apologize, Gary; if you can't read what is written, or don't want to deal with all lower (or upper) case lettering and no punctuation & capitalization that looks like it's written by a 3rd grader, just ignore the post.

You can even put the OP on your Ignore list so you never heave to see anything from them ever again.

Works pour moi.

I thought this was a ford truck forum, not an english class. I'm sorry for my typos. I had an idea on how to fix my window motor without following every wire in the harness, I did not need a grammar lesson.

Thank you for using good English, it's LOTS easier to read!

I'm hoping you're learning that how you present yourself out here has an awful lot to do with both the quality & quantity of help you'll receive, and you certainly DID need a grammar lesson.

The English classes one goes through in school are to prepare one for communicating effectively in the real world.

The harder it is for somebody to figure out what is being said, the lower the chances of your receiving good & useful information in replies.

How you present yourself & write is the ONLY method people have of forming an opinion about you and your intelligence.

And, if a person writes in an incomprehensible, illiterate manner, the assumption becomes, "This person isn't capable of understanding the answer, so why bother."

"If they don't care enough to write in a legible, easy-to-read, clear & accurate manner that helps me understand their problem, why should I go through the work of trying to help them?"

There are several really good & knowledgeable people out here (some of whom have factory wiring diagrams), why turn away their potential help by writing like a child and repelling them?

You might edit your original post (or make a new one) with some basic information - year of truck, model, etc. - and more clearly describe what the symptoms are and what your proposed idea is.

I'll take a stab here. You are thinking the switch is bad so you want to wire in a new one?

You could, but you need a DPDT on-off-on switch. Or you could order a new switch through LMC or find one in a scrapyard.

Here's how to do it. You need a DPDT Center OFF switch(Double pole, Double throw). Also make sure it's spring return to the middle(off) position.

But, before you do that you might want to figure out for sure that it is a switch problem. Jumper around the current switch to see if it might be a wiring problem.
