ok so its a pretty solid engine then?

 

I think so...sometimes as we have said before the DPF can be an issue if you don't run it hard sometimes but personally that is about it.

 

so if you run it hard from time to time it helps clean the dpf out a bit and gives you a little more longevity?

 

I have the opportunity to buy a 08 6.4 F-250 4 Door. Body is in good shape but I was told it had a leak at the turbo and also needed egr work done. I has higher miles and I was told it would be around 5,000 to fix it. The purchase price is 5,000 also and just curious of anyone has advice...buy it because it is worth the fix, or pass and keep looking? Thanks
