I am converting my 72 f100 4x4 from manual to auto (np435 to c6) , this is my everyday driver with as freshly built 390 with mods, I have a couple of questions about this project
1. I had A very hard time finding a C6 to bolt up to the 390 but finally found one and the guy has a good reputation he said he will do a complete performance rebuild and include a performance stall for $1200 , to me it seems fair and no charge for a core. Does seam about right?
2. My truck currently has a Dana 21 ( 2w 4w) Transfer case, this guy suggest a bw 1356 transfer case , I tried to get some specs on this transfer case and having a hard time, of my options for a manual Transfer case which one would work best the 1356, np205, or any of the others that I am not aware of?
Would like to have 2h 2L 4h 4L
If anyone has taken out the np435 4 speed and change to c6 and know what combination works best with what tranfercase please comment, all advice is welcome
Thanks Gordon

Are they? I wish I knew someone I would go measure one, I have looked all over the internet for specs like size and gear ratios so I can compare but haven't found any thing yet, thanks Tanner
