4x4 transfer case
Hello, I have a 66 f100 4x4. It currently has a NP435 4sp transmission married to a dana 21 single speed transfer case. can anybody tell me if it is psossible/feasable to use a C6 automatic transmission with that transfer case and if so is it complicated?

No, that has to be one of the most odd ball transfer cases ive ever seen. i have the same NP435/21 set up and it was only offered in manual tranny half tons from '66-'72. your honest best bet is to find a married C6/NP205. you could find this setup in a junkyard for a few hundred bucks with all the little stuff you would need to get it in. all you would need to do is shorten the rear driveshaft and find a longer front driveshaft. and this way you would have a transfer case with 4 low.
