E4OD will not rotate backwards

I have a 94 F-250 351w, W/e4od 4x4 I was pulling my trailer heard a noise like brakes dragging so I pulled over and when I stopped my buddy hopped out to hear where it was coming from and I had to back up and when I did so I felt everything shift and when I tried backing up it wouldn't move but it attempted to move felt as if I was standing on the brakes so I tried again wouldn't move so I read up on it thought it was the filter dropped the pan filter was stil up there but had a nice little metal mountain on the magnet it wasn't alot but I decent amount I thought could be tcase dropped that and tried turning the output shaft on trans but still rotates one way not backward rotation. Any info ideas anything would help. Valve body issues what thanks all
